The AFT network will be unavailable from Friday, April 22nd, 9:00 pm EST until Monday, April 25th, 2005, 8:00 am EST in order for our Administration Department to install an air conditioning chiller and an additional Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) in our server room. This work is essential; however, since this work is being preformed by a third party contractor, exact estimates of completion are out of our hands. This is to inform you of enhancements to Membership Suite. The new enhancements include the addition of two new query options in Membership. The two queries - Excluding Retirees and Including Retirees - were added to assist with reporting on your retiree members. They can be found under the Individuals/Active Members drop-down menu (see below).

Additionally, we need to inform you of an issue with the Quick Entry Form. When you attempt to save a new member's home address you will receive an error message: "The Home Address currently in use is Invalid". Select 'OK' to bypass this message. This error can be disregarded as it will not affect your data. We are working to resolve this issue.

We are pleased to announce that our Membership Server is being upgraded! With this upgrade, you should experience a more efficient means of managing your data. As we move forward, this upgrade will be handled in phases. In "Phase One" we will move your data to the new server. We have taken all safety precautions in preserving your membership information. You will be notified via email prior to your data being moved.

Membership Suite will be unavailable Friday, November 5th, 2004 at 6:00pm thru Sunday, November 7th, 2004 Eastern Standard Time (EST) as we finalize this phase of the upgrade. System will be available Monday, November 8th, 2004 at 9:00am (EST).

Changes you will notice with this phase are:

Look-up Table
All of the AFT Standard lookup tables will now be available, in addition to all of your customized tables.

Real Time Updates
All data entered and/or updated at the Local level will now be available/viewable at the State Fed level immediately in Suite

Duplicate Records
This upgrade and data transfer will eliminate most of the duplicate entries in the look-up tables at the State Fed level.

If your state is Texas, Washington or West Virginia and the State Fed maintains some of your Locals data, we used the most recently updated individual record when eliminating your duplicates. Please take a moment to verify the changes. All of the data is recoverable if changes were made incorrectly. The phase roll-out schedule will be posted on this webpage.
